John O'Shea

In 1977, sports journalist John OShea interrupted a successful media career to turn his attention to helping the group of people, referred to by Saint Teresa of Calcutta as the Poorest of the Poor and found that he had a talent for this endeavor. After a 35 year stint as CEO of GOAL, the humanitarian agency he established and helped raise in excess of $1 billion, he believes the time is opportune to share his motivational stories with others, in the hope of inspiring another generation to take up the challenge of alleviating the suffering of the forgotten on our planet.
