They can provide tailor-made workshops to suit various ages, abilities, and class sizes and to be complementary to the curriculum. Simple seasonal projects eg. willow Christmas stars or St Brigids crosses or simple basketry making a garden trug or more complex rustic furniture projects. They recognize the importance of school wildlife gardens and outdoor classrooms in the provision of a context in which pupils can explore nature and creativity in a safe and stimulating environment. They are not just about willow domes.
