Rathcroghan Visitor Centre

The Rathcroghan experience comprises of a visit to our award-winning interpretive rooms, where visitors explore the rich archaeological and historical past of Connachts prehistoric royal capital, Cruachan A . Explore how our Iron Age and Medieval ancestors dressed, what they ate, where and how they lived and what they believed in. Relive the tales and folklore of the Warrior Queen Medb and Irelands national epic the T in B Cuailnge. School tours are warmly welcomed but a prior booking needs to be made.
