The National Reptile Zoo

Learning becomes interactive when the students take part in the National Reptile Zoo's school tours. Information is tailored to suit the age group of the class and students are encouraged to ask questions as they embark on a inquiry based tour of the zoo, learning about everything from what the animals eat to how they shed their skin and how they protect themselves. There is also a Zoo To You option which involves a zookeeper coming to your school with a wide variety of animals ranging from invertebrates to tortoises and even snakes!
