National Library of Ireland

The collections of the National Library constitute a unique learning resource for students of all aspects of Irish history and culture. They have devised a broad educational program to maximize this potential, providing a wide range of services for primary, post-primary, third level students, lifelong learners, and educators. They offer a variety of resources specially designed for school students including historical case studies and specialized tours of their exhibitions. The National Library welcomes visitors to our free exhibitions in Dublin, on Kildare Street; in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar; and at the Bank of Ireland Cultural and Heritage Centre, Westmoreland Street.
