Killenure Castle

Killenure Castle is a composition of architecture spanning over a period of 450 years. The ruinous monument is the last stronghold of the O'Dwyer Clan and is the only structure in Ireland to have 4 round towers. It is a site that hosts both cultural and historical celebration. It has held a central place in the local community for over five centuries, as a stronghold; a school; an artistic retreat; a visitor attraction; and vitally, a family home. School tours are available on request.
