Hook Lighthouse

Hook lighthouse in Wexford offers schools guided tours all year round of the 800-year-old medieval tower and this is one of the top things to do in Irelands Ancient East. Climb the 115 well-worn steps of the tower and explore thick-walled chambers, meet a life-size hologram figure: St Dubh n, who tells of perishing nights spent with fellow monks in the 5th-century warning sailors against dangers with a beacon they kept alight on the headland.
