Duncannon Fort

Duncannon Fort is an impressive presentation of a bastioned fortress perched on the side of the stunning Hook Peninsula, County Wexford, part of Irelands ancient east. This historic structure has gathered countless intriguing and awe-inspiring stories over its 450-year history and holds one of the best vantage points to take in the beautiful Waterford Estuary from. Open 7 days a week for guided tours. School tours should be booked in advance. 4 Guided tours, 7 days per week, Tour times as follows 11.30 am, 12.45pm, 2.30pm, 4.00pm. Please note that site is not wheelchair accessible.
