Claregalway Museum

Opened in September 2014 the Claregalway Museum & Blacksmith Forge offer schools a wonderful local, cultural and heritage experience. The Claregalway Historical and Cultural Society aims to encourage the appreciation, knowledge and preservation of Claregalway area's rich heritage. Take a guided tour of the museum and the blacksmith forge & see how our ancestors lived and worked. There is a selection of Blacksmiths tools, Antique farm machinery & implements, Traditional carpentry equipment and Antique household items on display as well as many local artifacts.
