Immerse your students in a 19th-century Irish village, explore the nooks and crannies of a medieval castle or introduce yourself to the Norman way of life in Bunratty Castle. Bunratty Castle & Folk Park offers a wide variety of programs for primary and secondary schools. In all of the programs, participants have the chance to explore the life of the past while having fun. There are opportunities for interaction on site with our Bean an Ti and animators. Students can also benefit from tasks which will build team building, adaptability, problem-solving, decision making and communication. From the turbulent history within the castle walls to the charming window onto an Ireland of a by-gone era, students and teachers alike experience the sights, sounds and smells of this enchanting folk park setting in an interactive and fun nature..
