Blennerville Windmill

Learn all about the famine & understand how locals were forced to emigrate on board the famous Jeannie Johnston through the audio-visual presentation and famine exhibition gallery. Children are sure to love the guided tour of the Windmill where they can turn the ancient quorn (mill) stones and see how flour is made. They can also go to the top of the Windmill and see the inner workings as the wind turns the sails (weather permitting). The Kerry Model Railway with some interactive sets is included in the tour. Blennerville is also a birdwatchers' paradise with beautiful views of Tralee Bay.
