Airfield Estate offers a fun-packed day of learning and adventure through their educational tours for students of all ages, from pre-school to third level. Tailoring each experience to the class's age and specific needs, the tours interact with all elements of the estate, including gardens, farms, the house, and play areas. The Primary Summer Tour, a 3-hour immersive experience priced at 12 per student (9.60 for DEIS schools), includes a guided exploration of the regenerative farm and organic food gardens, complemented by a hands-on activity. Students can engage in activities such as minibeast hunts, butter making, seed sowing, and pond dipping. The small group sizes ensure a rich educational experience, fostering a deeper connection with nature and sustainable farming practices.
